Quarter auction to benefit Horizon's Inc. set for March 14

Coshocton event supports services for individuals with disabilities.

Horizon’s Inc. will celebrate its 50th anniversary in May and is holding a quarter auction to raise money for a Heart, Hope and Home Celebration Tuesday, May 19.

Horizon’s Inc. will celebrate its 50th anniversary in May and is holding a quarter auction to raise money for a Heart, Hope and Home Celebration Tuesday, May 19. The auction will be held Saturday, March 14 at Hopewell School on Airport Road. Doors will open at 11 a.m. with the auction beginning at noon.

The entry fee is $10 per person and includes one paddle. Additional paddles can be purchased for $3 each. There will be four rounds of items, a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, a silent auction and a food stand.

Horizon's Inc. is a nonprofit organization that has worked to raise awareness and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“Our mission is to provide caring services one happy heart at a time and to achieve the goals and objectives of providing the best care possible for our DD individuals,” said Heather Walker, a member of the team organizing the auction and a house manager in a Coshocton house.
