Kent State Tuscarawas unveils three new shows, including a Las Vegas headliner, viral comedy duo and free annual holiday concert

Now in its fourth year, Sounds of the Season will awaken holiday spirit with a concert performed by area musicians.

The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas announced three new shows coming to New Philadelphia.

Las Vegas headliner and "America’s Got Talent" winner Terry Fator will come to the PAC Saturday, Feb. 28 while the creators of the viral web series #IMOMSOHARD bring their Flashback Tour on Sunday, April 19. Also announced is the fourth annual Sounds of the Season Thursday, Dec. 18, a free community event featuring local musicians. All shows will be at 7:30 p.m.

Terry Fator

Fator has created a new road show to kick off his 2025-26 tour. Pure Imagination: Once Upon a Voice is a 90-minute spectacular, featuring the impressions, comedy and ventriloquism that has made Fator and his characters a must-see show for fans across the nation. The show features the classic characters Fator has made famous over the years: Winston the Impersonating Turtle, Country Star Walter T. Airdale, Apollo Theater legend Julius, perpetual slacker and stoner Duggie, Vikki the Cougar, and the world’s greatest Elvis impersonator Maynard Tompkins.

#IMOMSOHARD: The Flashback Tour features two funny ladies as they dive into all things motherhood — surviving marriage, questionable fashion choices, belly fat and the rollercoaster ride of raising kids. Best friends and comedians Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley are the creators of the viral web series #IMOMSOHARD, where they discuss the good, the bad and the funny about motherhood. Their videos have gone viral, leading to four national tours, a successful podcast, a New York Times bestseller and a stand-up special on Amazon Prime Video.

They're now on their fifth nationwide tour, bringing their outlook on life to audiences across the country. This live comedy show mixes stand-up and improv.

Now in its fourth year, Sounds of the Season will awaken holiday spirit with a concert performed by area musicians. The sounds of the holidays will fill the Performing Arts Center with a celebration for the whole family. This is a free event, but tickets are required. Featured musicians include Claymont High School's concert choir, Dover High School's Ars Nova Singers, New Philadelphia High School's Delphian Chorale and more.
