Lady Bears claim River View Black Bear Invite title
River View girls bowling team rolls to championship behind strong qualifying and clutch match-play victories at Legacy Lanes.
In the finals the Lady Bears won in two games 183-101 and 194-146 to become the 2026 River View Black Bear Invite champions.

On Jan. 3 the River View girls bowling team hosted the River View Black Bear Invite at Legacy Lanes.
The Lady Bears rolled to the No. 1 seed after qualifying with a 3,496 for three games and six Baker games, moving on to match play. In the semifinals they faced the West Holmes Lady Knights and won in two matches 163-160 and 216-106 to advance to the finals against the Ridgewood Lady Generals.

The Lady Bears were led by junior Karley Stocker with a 552 series and a second-place finish, first-team all-tournament; sophomore Morgan Rowe with a 523 series and fifth-place finish, first-team all-tournament; and junior Kaylie Bryan with a 488 series and ninth-place finish, second-team all-tournament. Junior Madi Bryan also set a PR with a 444 series and 12th-place finish, and sophomore Mya Dobson had a PR with a 229 game.
The Lady Bears championship team consisted of Zoe Hardesty, Stocker, Kaylie Bryan, Madi Bryan, Rowe, Kendall Duff, Dobson and Shannon Durben.
