Kowalski submitted resignation for purposes of retirement
The Coshocton City School District Board of Education held a special public meeting Monday afternoon, Feb. 2, to take official action on a separation agreement with former Superintendent Mark Kowalski, who submitted a resignation for purposes of retirement over the weekend.
Interim Superintendent Matt Nicholas will remain in that position for now. The school board appreciates the administrative team, staff, parents, and the public's patience and support as it works through this process.
The board remains strongly committed to fulfilling its mission statement, which is: in partnership with families and community, the school district will empower individuals to become literate, respectful, responsible, and independent lifelong learners in an ever-changing global society.
