Kindergarten screening scheduled for River View Local School District
Screenings on March 26-27 in Warsaw for fall 2026 kindergarteners
River View Local School District will conduct its annual kindergarten screening to identify children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2026.
The screening will occur on Thursday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, March 27, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at River View Elementary at 501 Blissfield Road in Warsaw.
Kindergarten screening is an important first step for families with children entering school for the first time. The screening helps identify each child's strengths and weaknesses and allows the district to better prepare for their needs. During the screening process, children will participate in a series of assessments to evaluate their academic, social, and emotional readiness for kindergarten.
Parents or guardians of children who will be five by Aug. 1 are encouraged to register their child for the screening. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by visiting River View Local School’s website at https://www.rvbears.org/parents/kindergarten-registration.
