Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum to host women's fundraiser
Coshocton event features five-course dinner and auction on April 25 to support educational programs.
The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum invites women to an evening of fine dining for a cause. What Women Want — A Night Out Just for Women will return at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, offering a five-course dinner and an auction featuring experiences and exclusive packages. Organized by The Friends of the Museum, this event serves as a fundraiser to support the museum’s educational programming.
The night will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with wine and music, allowing guests to check in, explore the auction packages and place bids in the silent auction. At 6:30 p.m. attendees will get a plated five-course dinner served by black-tie waiters. Chef Mike Cichon will once again curate the menu.
After dinner the auction will feature a variety of packages including exclusive dinners, getaway opportunities and special event bundles. Fan-favorite items such as a gourmet dinner for eight at the museum prepared by Cichon will be available for bidding. Stay tuned to @jhmuseum31 on Facebook and Instagram for sneak peeks of auction items leading up to the event.
Tickets for What Women Want are priced at $75, which includes a five-course dinner and a complimentary wine ticket. Friends of the Museum members will receive an additional wine ticket as a special perk. A cash wine bar also will be available throughout the evening. Guests will have the opportunity to select their entrée at the time of ticket purchase.
For those looking to elevate their dining experience, the museum is offering an exclusive wine pairing experience for an additional $25. In-house sommelier David Walters will personally match and pour a hand-selected wine for each course, providing insight into each pairing to enhance the culinary journey.
Tickets are limited, so early reservations are encouraged. Tickets may be purchased beginning Tuesday, Feb. 24 at the museum, by calling 740-622-8710 or by visiting www.jhmuseum.org/www. Ticket sales end Friday, April 17 and must be paid for by this date. If interested in sponsoring a full table or an auction item, contact the museum.
The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village at 300 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton. Museum hours are Friday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., and all Sundays are free admission to Coshocton County residents.
