Developments taking shape in Coshocton County

We have seen exciting developments taking shape across Coshocton County, marking a season of growth, investment and forward progress. From transformational grant funding to dynamic business expansions, our community is making bold strides toward a brighter future — and we're proud to be moving forward together.

We're excited to share news of the significant grants awarded recently for our area. These funds will serve as a catalyst for long-term improvements, supporting infrastructure, revitalization and economic development initiatives that benefit both residents and businesses. The impact of these investments will be truly transformational — positioning Coshocton for sustainable growth and prosperity.

These victories didn't happen overnight. The Coshocton Port Authority, City of Coshocton and Coshocton County Commissioners have been working tirelessly for several years to make this vision reality. Their leadership and persistence have laid the foundation for a stronger future for our entire community.

We've also had the pleasure of celebrating a series of ribbon cuttings across the county. These events reflect more than new storefronts and buildings; they represent job creation, entrepreneurship and community confidence. With several more ribbon cuttings on the horizon, the momentum continues to build.

At the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce, we are committed to responding to the needs of our members. That's why we're proud to introduce new professional development opportunities. EDGE, our new quarterly training series, replaces the traditional Fall Coffee & Commerce events. EDGE stands for education, development, growth and engagement and will deliver focused learning experiences designed to keep our business community informed, inspired and competitive.

As school buses return to the roads, please remember to drive carefully.

Coshocton is on the rise, and the chamber is proud to be part of the journey. Together, we're building a community rooted in progress, partnership and purpose.

Amy Crown is the executive director of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce.
