The East District Athletic Board announced pairings for the 2026 boys sectional and district basketball tournament Sunday afternoon, Feb. 15.

The East District Athletic Board announced pairings for the 2026 boys sectional and district basketball tournament Sunday afternoon, Feb. 15.

Coshocton (10-11) earned the No. 6 seed and will host No. 11 River View (5-14) Saturday, Feb. 28 in The Wigwam.

Ridgewood (9-11) is the No. 8 seed and also will play Feb. 28. The Generals opted to go on the road in the opening round, passing up a home game, to play at No. 5 Union Local.

St. Clairsville is the No. 1 seed and will host Bellaire. West Muskingum was second, followed by No. 3 Martins Ferry and No. 4 Fort Frye.

The east will send two teams to the regional tournament in division five.
