City of Coshocton working on water lines
3-24-25 Outage Area On Monday, March 24, the City of Coshocton will perform repairs on the main water line impacting the water supply to residences north of Chestnut Street and East of North 15th Street.
To make the necessary repairs, the water will need to be shut off. The water will be shut off around 8 a.m. The goal will be to have the water service back on by 4 p.m. During this time, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., you will have no water. To minimize having no water, the city is recommending you fill several clean containers with cold water and place in your refrigerator for drinking. Also, fill several containers with water for flushing your toilets.
Once the water service is returned to service at the end of the day you will most likely experience cloudy or discolored water. To help clear up the discolored water you may want to leave a cold-water faucet running a small (1/4 inch or less) stream of water.
At this time no boil alert is anticipated. Listen to WTNS for updates.
