Christmas Magic in Lights will be Saturday, Dec. 6 from 6-10 p.m. at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds. This is a drive-thru display of Christmas lights and inflatables that are set up by individuals, businesses and organizations for the community’s enjoyment.

The cost of the drive-thru is by donation, and all money raised stays in Coshocton. Last year the money was split between Coshocton County Miracle on Wheels and the Coshocton County Firefighters’ Toy Chest.

D Woodward Wells is one of the organizers of the event. She said they are still looking for more displays. The deadline to register is Monday, Dec. 1. Displays can be set up Friday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday, Dec. 6 starting at 8 a.m. Displays must be in place by 3 p.m.

To register, visit the Christmas Magic in Lights Facebook page or call Woodward Wells at 740-202-0276 or Stacey Seitz at 740-502-9376.

Woodward Wells said the committee has a plan to try to help with the traffic. They are planning a longer route in the fairgrounds that includes a place for cars to pull over and buckle children back into seats without blocking traffic. So far they have 38 displays registered.
