Boys basketball roundup: Linsly, Coshocton, Ridgewood earn wins
Balanced efforts powered victories at the Conotton Valley Classic, while Ridgewood and Warsaw picked up road and home wins in Saturday boys basketball action.

Linsly used depth and balance to secure a 61-40 win over River View in game two of the Conotton Valley Classic Saturday afternoon, Jan. 10.
River View was shorthanded, playing without three starters due to injury and illness, but the Black Bears continued to compete. Chase Wright turned in a strong performance, leading River View with 16 points, while Isaac Killiany added eight points in the loss.
Herman, Williams power Coshocton
Coshocton earned a 52-28 victory over Garaway in game three of the Conotton Valley Classic behind a balanced scoring effort and a dominant second half.
JJ Herman led the way for the Redskins with 11 points while Mason Williams followed closely with 10 points. The ’Skins held a 21-19 lead at intermission before taking complete control of the game after halftime.
Coshocton delivered a huge third quarter, outscoring the Pirates 20-2 to blow the game open.
Ridenbaugh lifts Ridgewood
Ridgewood earned a 51-40 road victory over East Canton Saturday night, Jan. 10, behind a strong second-half performance, improving the Generals to 7-5 on the season.
Logan Ridenbaugh led all scorers with 22 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, to help seal the win. Jackson Cabot provided additional scoring punch, knocking down 20 points for the Generals as the Orange & Black relied heavily on their top two options.
The contest was tight early, with Ridgewood trailing 23-22 at halftime. The Generals came out with renewed energy in the third quarter, outscoring the Hornets 13-6 to take control of the game.
Warsaw Warriors top East Richland
Caileb Grimmett scored 18 points and Cyrus Deeds netted 14 as the Warsaw Warriors recently defeated East Richland 57-30.
The Warriors raced out to a 39-4 lead at halftime and never looked back.
Clayton Strohl added eight points, and Rylan Everhart chipped in six for Warsaw.
