Stark State College to host fall open houses Nov. 6 and 12

Students, parents and adults looking for a new career are invited to attend upcoming fall open houses at Stark State College. 

The events will take place from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 6 at the main campus in North Canton, 6200 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township, and Nov. 12 at the college’s Akron location, 360 Perkins St. 

Guests will have an opportunity to talk with faculty and staff about the college’s more than 200 associate degrees and certificates, take a tour, learn about student services and resources, and more. 

Financial aid staff will also be on hand to help students and parents explore financial aid, submit FAFSA applications and discuss scholarship opportunities.
