Malvern to host third annual revival in the park

The third annual revival will take place at Malvern Park on West Canal Street in Malvern, beginning Friday, Aug. 15, and continuing through Sunday, Aug. 17. The event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. each evening.

This year's theme is drawn from Romans 15:13: “Pour Out To The God Of Hope And Be Filled.” The revival will feature a lineup of guest speakers and live music each night.

Pastor Tim Cashen of Mechanicstown will speak on Friday, Aug. 15. Pastor John Carpenter of Cardington will lead Saturday's service, and Pastor Sue Mathie of Canton will close the series on Sunday, Aug. 17.

Musical performances throughout the weekend will include Emmerald House Emmanuel, Yeshua, Community Choir, Sharing God's Gift and L Michele Spencer. Spencer is a minister, recording artist, radio and television host, and is affiliated with M G Magazine.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and snacks. The event is open to the public and welcomes all with a come as you are invitation.
