High school bands set to perform at Stark County Fair
The Sandy Valley Cardinal Marching Band, directed by Craig Carnes will perform at the annual Band Show Aug. 26.
Two area high school bands are scheduled to perform at the Stark County Fair’s annual Band Show at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26.
They include the Minerva High School Lions Marching Band, directed by Derrick Maxey, and the Sandy Valley Cardinal Marching Band, directed by Craig Carnes.
Other scheduled performers include bands from Central Catholic, Tuslaw, McKinley, East Canton, Canton South, Fairless, Alliance, Louisville and Marlington.
The 176th Stark County Fair runs through Labor Day, Sept. 1. General admission is $9 per person. Daily entertainment will be offered in both the grandstand and pavilion.
The fairgrounds are on Wertz Avenue, just north of West Tuscarawas Avenue in Canton.
