GOP Lincoln Day dinner set for April 8
The keynote speaker is Alex Triantafilou, who has served as Ohio GOP chairman since 2023 and has devoted his career to supporting Republican causes

The Carroll County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day dinner will be held Wednesday, April 8, at the Atwood Yacht Club and will feature the chairman of the Ohio Republican Party as guest speaker. A social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner reservations are $50 for adults and $35 for Young Republicans. Reservations must be made by Friday, April 3, and may be obtained by contacting Becky Leggett at 330-575-4038 or Lucinda Oyer at 330-205-3305.
The keynote speaker is Alex Triantafilou, who has served as Ohio GOP chairman since 2023 and has devoted his career to supporting Republican causes. Triantafilou also served as chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party in Cincinnati and was an active member of the Ohio Republican Party’s State Central Committee.
As a candidate himself, Triantafilou was the youngest judge in his county’s history and served as judge until 2008. He left that role to join Cincinnati’s largest law firm, Dinsmore & Shohl, where he is a partner.
Triantafilou also serves on numerous community boards, including Talbert House, the region’s largest provider of mental health and counseling services.
Alex and his wife, Jennifer, live in Green Township. They have an adult son and are parishioners of Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
