Conotton Valley football season ends with loss at top-seeded Hillsdale

Defending Div. VII runner-up scores 56 first-half points, ends Rockets season at 8-4

Conotton Valley’s football season came to an end Nov. 7 when the Rockets, playing at top-seeded Hillsdale, came out on the short end of a 63-6 count in a Div. VII, Region 27 second-round playoff game in Jeromesville.

The Falcons (10-1), who host Symmes Valley Nov. 14 in a regional semifinal, scored four touchdowns in the first quarter, then poured across four more in the seconds to take a 56-0 halftime lead. Five of the scores came via the passing of quarterback Kael Lewis.

Conotton Valley, which finishes 8-4, scored a fourth-quarter touchdown on a 1-yard dive by Tyler Krawulski. Kade Leggett was 12 of 22 passing for 77 yards.
