Members explore lush gardens at the home of Connie Dowling and Rose Hopp while sharing ideas for community beautification

The Carrollton Suburban Garden Club met at the home of Connie Dowling and Rose Hopp, where members toured the hosts’ “Backyard Paradise.” Guests enjoyed strolling among a variety of plantings and outbuildings that create a peaceful spot to sit and relax. Garden clubs bring together people who share an interest in flowers, landscaping and community beautification. Members often exchange gardening tips, visit unique local gardens and help promote horticulture throughout the area.
