Carroll County DD Board clarifies levy decision

Carroll County Developmental Disabilities Superintendent Matt Campbell has requested a clarification to the article in the Oct. 3 issue, which reported the Board of DD approved a resolution to hold off placing a 3.6-mill operating levy on the 2026 ballot.

According to Campbell, the board approved, for the fourth time during this levy cycle, to hold back the levy by a half mill.

“This levy is up for renewal in 2028. We are voluntarily reducing the levy collection for 2026,” Campbell said.
