Zoar Bakery to mark Pi Day with pie sale March 14

On Pi Day the Zoar Bakery will sell fresh pie by the slice and whole pies.

The Zoar Bakery will celebrate International Pi Day Saturday, March 14, with a variety of pies available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pi is the mathematical constant 3.14, representing the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. The observance began in 1988 and was recognized by Congress in 2009.

Whole pies and slices will be available for purchase and pickup at the Zoar Bakery. The Zoar Store also will be open with merchandise for sale, including a special sale on towels and aprons.
