Tuscarawas County Historical Society plans winter banquet Nov. 13 in Dover
Event at the Senior Center features folk music by Josh Compton, board election and buffet dinner; tickets $35, reservations due Oct. 31
The Tuscarawas County Historical Society will hold its Annual Winter Banquet Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, 425 Prospect St., Dover. A social will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a short business meeting and a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided by Josh Compton, a 2024 Zeisberger Heckewelder Medal winner and local folk singer, who will perform original songs about the history of Tuscarawas County. The evening will also include an election for the historical society’s board of directors.
Tickets are $35 per person, and reservations are required. To reserve, send participant names and payment by Friday, Oct. 31, to: Tuscarawas County Historical Society, P.O. Box 462, New Philadelphia, OH 44663. Reservations are confirmed upon payment.
