Touch-a-Truck event set for April 11 at Main Library
Families will be able to explore big trucks and machinery from throughout the community in the library parking lot
Are you ready to see your favorite trucks? Join the Tuscarawas County Public Library System at the Main Library in New Philadelphia for its Touch-a-Truck event Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Families will be able to explore big trucks and machinery from throughout the community in the library parking lot as well as listen to a special storytime. Vehicles coming include the library’s bookmobile, sheriff’s vehicle, a snowplow, fire truck, tractor, electric truck and more. All are welcome to come see the vehicles up close and ask questions.
“This will be a fun experience for kids to get up close to vehicles they may see in their neighborhood, but aren't given the opportunity to be near,” said Children’s Services Manager Mary Smrek.
Registration for this free family event can be completed online at tusclibrary.org or by calling the Main Library at 330-364-4474. The county’s Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW, New Philadelphia.
