Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County will support T4C - Tuscarawas County Council for Church and Community with this year’s Variety Show Saturday, March 28.
The show will again be hosted by Merriweather and Garryweather, portrayed by Kettie Kneuss and Jeff Williams.
Acts will include Little Theatre Original Productions and Francis Brogan sketch comedy, cover band Yesterday’s News, and vocalists Anna Zurcher, Allegra McMillan, Caitlin Allshouse, Denise Cooley, Emma Friley, Tabby Miller, Lanie Wenger, Isis Kandle, Page Maffei, Madison Kierney, Marc Davis, Morgan Marshall, Nicole Graham, Sami Gump, Scarlett Cooley, Stella Tompkin, Vivian Lawson and Melody Hostutler.
In addition to the entertainment, there will be multiple raffles, including a 50/50 and lottery tree. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at 10 for $5 or one for $1. The event also will feature a mystery vineyard, where $10 buys a mystery bottle of wine.
No credit cards will be accepted for the event. Cash or checks only.
The Tuscarawas County Council for Church and Community provides a range of services aimed at supporting individuals and families throughout the county.
Its Healthy Choices program reaches middle school students in every school district, promoting positive decision-making and life skills.
Through Share-a-Christmas, the organization helps brighten the holidays for hundreds of families by providing food, clothing and toys for children.
The council also offers Emergency Assistance to individuals who need help but do not qualify for other programs. In addition, it leads community initiatives such as supplying essential school items, offering free laundry services and organizing donation drives to address the county’s changing needs.
The theater will open at 6 p.m., with auditorium doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature a short intermission.
Sponsors, wine bottle donations and lottery ticket donations are welcome and needed.
The show is directed by Kait Gallagher-Wilsterman, who has led the production since 2015. She is joined this year by co-director Michael Antonelli.
