Kerry Metzger to speak on spring 1776 at county library

The program is free and is among 11 events the library system is offering in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host Kerry Metzger for a presentation titled “When Liberty Took Root” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Main Library.

Metzger will discuss events of the spring of 1776.

“Kerry is a well-known and respected member of the community who has a wealth of knowledge to share,” said Tabitha Johnson, adult and teen services manager. “He is a wonderful speaker and has a way of bringing history to life to captivate any audience.”

The program is free and is among 11 events the library system is offering in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary as part of state and nationwide initiatives.
