Indian Valley Foundation to host eighth annual gala April 11
The goal of the gala is to raise funds to increase scholarships, classroom grants and building grants for the district
The Indian Valley Foundation will host its eighth annual gala April 11 at the Harvest Barn in Sugarcreek. The event will run from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
Organizers said the 2025 gala was a success and they hope to make this year’s event even better.
The evening will include dinner catered by Log Cabin Catering at $50 per plate, chances to win gift baskets and gift cards valued from $25 to $100, a live auction and silent auction, a deck of cards raffle, and a wine pull and gift card pull.
The goal of the gala is to raise funds to increase scholarships, classroom grants and building grants for the Indian Valley School District.
Since its inception in 2009, the foundation has provided $802,058 in support to the district, including $580,000 for college scholarships, $111,058 for classroom grants and $111,000 in building grants to the four school buildings and Buckeye Career Center. Board members said they hope to grow fundraising efforts to further support students, teachers and administrators.
Community members and businesses can support the event in several ways. Sponsorship opportunities include $1,000, which reserves a table for eight and includes eight tickets; $500, which includes four tickets; $250, which includes two tickets; and $125, which includes one ticket.
Additional ways to help include donating items for the live or silent auction, contributing gift cards valued from $25 to $100 for the gift card pull, donating wine for the wine pull, or purchasing event tickets. Tickets are available on the district's website, Facebook or by contacting Mark Natoli at 330-340-7754 or Dave McPeek at 330-340-6563.
Organizers request that all donations and sponsorships be received before March 21.
The Indian Valley Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt charitable organization.
