Nashville TOPS group hears program on success strategies
On Aug. 20, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges.
Bonnie Porter was the best weekly loser. She said to log everything you eat next week.
Lana Rush was the best weekly and monthly KOPS.
The Don't Feed the Shark Contest continues.
Melanie Vance, an area representative, attended and gave the group an update on the latest TOPS rules. She then gave a program on the starting points of success. She said to remember the key to the future lies in maintaining positive self-esteem, using good body language with proper posture, eye contact and a smile. She said to practice relaxation techniques such as expressing gratitude, exercising for 30 minutes three days a week, meeting with a friend weekly and meditating for 10 minutes daily.
The club meets at the Nashville Global Methodist Church on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
