The first Adoration Christian School haystack dinner, auction and raffle event is slated for Friday, Oct. 17 at Legacy School, 2992 Simons Drive NW, Sugarcreek.
Adoration Christian School was a vision of Pastor Marcus Weaver of Cross Connections Church in Strasburg and was further pursued and walked out by Victoria Raber, president and founder of Adoration Christian School of Dover. The school began in the Cross Connections church building in Strasburg with 14 students, and last year it moved to the building of Word of Faith Christian Center on Columbia Avenue in Dover.
“It’s exciting to see what God has done in these past three years at Adoration,” Raber said. “Our students come from as far as Baltic to the west, Dover to the east, East Sparta to the north and Tippecanoe to the south, representing families from across Tuscarawas County and the surrounding communities.”
The school has now entered the fourth academic year, with over 60 students representing more than 35 families.
“There were so many divine moments that miraculously brought the vision to reality for the school," Weaver said.
The school and event planning team are creating a fun evening on Oct. 17 for students, families, community members and church friends to support the school.
