Why should residents of Scio vote for you?
"I was born and raised in Scio. Throughout my life, my family has operated several businesses in our small town and I understand the struggles small businesses owners face. I am a very active member in my community as I volunteer for the Scio Fire Department and also am an assistant coach for the Harrison Central trap team. I love our town and will do whatever I can to help make Scio’s future and the future of its residents better."

"I have been on council for a short time as I was appointed the seat in April. During my time in office, I saw two major projects start: the water line project on Eastport Street and the sewer project that’s about to start on Hilltop Drive. It has been a learning curve for me understanding how the village operates and the infrastructure it takes to support the community."
What issues facing Scio are you most concerned about?
"I certainly have several concerns with the recent car break-ins, speeding and other criminal activity in our town. I feel the village needs to take a look at what we can do to improve safety. Although the village has taken great strides to improve the water, sewer, and many other much needed updates, I feel we have to keep the momentum to continue to improve."
What sets you apart from other candidates?
"I am pleased to say I feel we have a great team on council. Everyone brings their own contributions to the town and keeps residents their number one concern. I personally have been taking a strong interest in understanding our waste water plant, water treatment facility, and many other things that keep our town operational. I am very vocal and am not afraid to ask questions so that I know I have full understanding of an issue. Then I can decide what I feel is best for residents. If I disagree, I do not shy away from difficult conversations in order to express my concerns with the other members of council."
What do you hope to accomplish if elected?
"I want to focus on continuing multiple projects in our village in order to keep improving the services we provide to its residents. I want to take a look into public safety and see what resources we have available to us to improve. I would also like to bring the sense of community back to Scio and encourage others to get involved with our town. Whether it’s joining a local organization or coming to a council meeting and voicing your own opinions, we can always do better serving the residents of Scio."
