Kinder Sprouts daycare now open in Cadiz

Kinder Sprouts Daycare Learning Facility is now open in Cadiz, with enrollment underway and expanded break services available during regular school and childcare hours. The facility is also seeking additional employees.

“We are now open,” said co-owner Courtney Harper. “We are proud to announce that we are offering before-school, after-school, holiday break and summer break services for school-age children, along with our originally advertised services.”

The Harrison County Regional Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the business. Kinder Sprouts is located in the former West Gate Schoolhouse on Peppard Avenue. During the opening, Harper and co-owner Patience Brown-Johnson shared how the idea for the learning center developed.

“I saw a need for a child care center, and we didn’t have one here in Cadiz,” Harper said. “Because of my personal need, I wanted to be able to provide that service for families in the local communities.”

Brown-Johnson described the effort to establish the daycare as a long journey.

“Family has come together, so to feel comfortable knowing that together we will provide a service to make sure your child is well taken care of,” she said.

The daycare serves children from 6 weeks to 11 years old. With the addition of expanded childcare options, parents can better plan for vacations, educational needs, travel and personal time away from home.

Daycare officials emphasized their commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment and said the center is hiring full- and part-time employees to support its continued growth.
