Harrison Central continued its recent tradition of producing All-Ohio athletes as Brady Hyre and Kane Dunkle were named to the High School Football All-Ohio Class of 2025 when selections were announced Dec. 15.
Hyre earned a spot on the Second Team offense as the Huskies’ quarterback, while Dunkle was named an honorable mention selection on offense as a receiver. Both players are seniors at Harrison Central.
Dunkle finished the regular season as one of the top receivers in the division, leading for much of the year. He totaled 806 receiving yards, an increase of 199 yards from earlier in the season, and increased his reception total from 42 to 57. His touchdown total also grew from 3 to 5.
Hyre ended the season ranked third in passing after previously sitting fourth. He finished with 1,683 passing yards, a 407-yard improvement, and threw 17 touchdown passes, an increase of 5. He was intercepted 9 times and averaged 168.3 yards per game, up from 159.5. Hyre completed 147 passes on 203 attempts during the regular season.
Statistics used for All-Ohio consideration were based solely on regular-season performances. Playoff results were not included in the evaluation process.
Local athletes recognized on the All-Ohio roster represent schools from the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference, along with players from other conferences across the state.
