Gospel Haven Academy used a fast start and balanced scoring attack to defeat the Warsaw Warriors 59-34 in the Independent Christian Schools of Ohio Tournament, bringing the Warriors’ 2025-26 season to a close.
The Flames set the tone early, jumping out to a 15-4 lead at the end of the first quarter behind a dominant opening stretch from Jackson Yoder, who scored 10 of his game-high 21 points in the period.

Gospel Haven Academy continued to build its advantage in the second quarter, taking a 31-14 lead into halftime and maintaining control throughout the second half.
Warsaw was led by Mobius Williams and Cyrus Deeds, who each scored 11 points.
The Warriors finished the season with a record of 8-14.
Gilead Christian also defeated Coshocton Christian 46-26 in the ICSO Tournament Saturday, Feb. 21. Owen Wetzel led the Wildcats with 10 points in the loss. Hunter Dunlop and Wade Eberhard both chipped in six for Coshocton.
Coshocton Christian closed out the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 6-7. In conference divisional play, the Wildcats were 6-1.
ICSO awards were announced at the annual conference tournament.

Grier Johnson and Dylan Wright were named to the ICSO Southeast District All-Star team.
Head coach Sam Brown also was named the Southeast District Coach of the Year.
As a team, the Wildcats received the Christian Character Award for the Southeast District.
