Letter From Sally
Resident praises Frontier Power's reliability
Holmes County resident expresses gratitude for uninterrupted service during recent snowfall.
On Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:50 a.m., I called our local Frontier Power Company, fully expecting to get its 24-hour answering service because the office doesn't open until 9 a.m. Instead, Michelle, who's worked there for years, answered.
As a member, I started to give her our map location and number. She asked me how she could help with my problem. I told her that was why I was calling: We had no problem!
I wanted to thank our faithful power supply company that we had no problem. Our lights never even flickered, and I slept well Saturday night knowing that would be the case.
Her momentary silence made me realize I was the only one to call, to thank them for being our provider. That's when I just burst into tears. Hundreds of people go for the free hot dogs and hamburgers in May, but I was the only one to call to thank them for their wonderful service during our big snowfall, which reminded me of my childhood in Maine.
