Coshocton rallies for walk-off victory
Redskins snap losing streak with 7-6 win over Crooksville in extra innings
Coshocton snapped a five-game losing streak in dramatic fashion, rallying to defeat Crooksville 7-6 in a walk-off win in the bottom of the eighth inning.
After tying the game in the seventh to force extras, the Redskins found themselves trailing again when the Ceramics pushed across two runs in the top of the eighth. But Coshocton refused to fold.
In the bottom half, the Redskins loaded the bases to set the stage for Dylan Wood, who delivered the biggest swing of the game. Wood uncorked a bases-clearing triple, sending Coshocton to a thrilling 7-6 victory.
Wood was a force at the plate all game, finishing with three hits. Parker Loomis matched him with three hits of his own to lead the Redskins’ offense. Champ Haley, Calan Shaw, Cooper George, and Jace Coffman also contributed hits in the win.
