On Feb. 18 Coshocton County Youth
Leadership gathered at Lock Landing in the Roscoe Village Visitors Center for
their Foundations and Community Stewardship Pay It Forward Presentations Program Day, joined by members of the adult leadership
program, Leadership Coshocton County.
Each CCYL member was given
$100 in October and challenged to make a difference in their
community. Students took creative approaches to the task. Some
donated their funds directly to local organizations or families in need while
others launched fundraising efforts to grow their impact and make larger
donations.

On Feb. 18 each member presented their experience and the
difference they made to the group.
The program day also featured
presentations from community leaders. David Baker spoke about pursuing your
passion, Bob Pell addressed what a foundation is, Kirby Hasseman explored why
it is important to be a community steward, and Jandi Adams and Jodi Morrison
presented on stewardship in action.
The Pay It Forward project
reflects the core mission of CCYL, which is to
develop the next generation of community-minded leaders so they are equipped and
inspired to give back to the place they call home.
