Coshocton County tax bills mailed this week
First-half 2025 real estate taxes due March 17; potential adjustments for inflation cap may affect second-half bills.
Janette Donaker, Coshocton County treasurer, announced the first-half 2025 real estate taxes and the 2026 manufactured home taxes are being mailed this week and the first-half amounts are due Tuesday, March 17.
Donaker also would like to inform taxpayers of a possible tax adjustment because recent legislation has established an inflation cap for certain property value increases that may impact your tax bill. However, due to the legislation's effective date, adjustments could not be incorporated into the first-half tax bills. As a result your second-half tax bill may be adjusted if your parcel meets the applicable criteria. If you pay your full-year tax bill, your final amount may be revised by the second-half collection. Any resulting overpayment will be issued as a credit to your account.
Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The treasurer’s office drive-thru will stay open Tuesday, March 17 until 5 p.m. to better serve the taxpayers.
A drop box is available for the convenience of after-hour payments. It is located to the left of the drive-thru window at the back of the courthouse annex.
If you do not receive a tax statement and own land in Coshocton County, contact the office. Not receiving a statement does not waive the 10% penalty if late.
For questions about your tax statement or payments, call 740-622-2731.
