Committee plans July celebrations for America’s 250th anniversary
Coshocton events will include history tours, music and family activities July 16–19
Coshocton’s America 250th Anniversary Committee is busy planning a weekend full fun and educational activities for the community in July.
Thursday through Sunday, July 16-19, there will be opportunities to enjoy history, theater and music throughout the county. Programming is being planned for Clary Gardens, Roscoe Village and downtown Coshocton. Tours will be given of the courthouse, Roscoe will have free access to its historical buildings and there will be free canal boat rides.
Funding for the celebration is being provided by a Coshocton Foundation Grant, and the group is seeking other resources. For information on making donations or joining the celebration, email Mary Beck at marybeck@coshoctoncounty.net.
