Coshocton County offers private pesticide, fertilizer recertification sessions
Two recertification opportunities will be held Feb. 10 and Feb. 12 at the Coshocton County Community Room, with credits available for private pesticide and fertilizer certification.
Coshocton County is offering two different opportunities for individuals to recertify in private pesticides and fertilizers. The recertification sessions will be Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 12 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Both will be held at the Coshocton County Community Room, 637 Chestnut St., Coshocton. Both sessions will offer three credit hours for Private Pesticide Recertification (CORE & Categories 1-6) and one credit for Fertilizer Recertification (Category 15).
The cost of the pesticide class is $10, and the fertilizer class is free for Coshocton County residents. You only need to attend one day to fulfill your recertification requirements.
If you are an out-of-county resident, the cost of the pesticide class is $35, and the fertilizer class is $10. You may write one check for $45 to the extension office for the recertification class if you need both pesticide and fertilizer recertification training.
To preregister, call OSU Extension at 740-622-2265 or email kinzel.40@osu.edu.
