The Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas will host Celtic Thunder on its all-new tour at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, in New Philadelphia.
“An Evening with Celtic Thunder” will feature a celebration of the group’s most popular songs while reuniting past and present members for an evening of music and memories.
The show will include a selection of the group’s greatest hits, highlighting harmonies, ballads and high-energy performances. The program will span traditional Irish folk songs and contemporary selections.
Performers Emmet, Damian, Neil and Ronan are scheduled to appear, bringing together familiar voices from the group’s lineup over the years.
“We wanted to create something truly special for our fans, something that feels personal and celebratory,” said Damian McGinty, a longtime Celtic Thunder principal. “This show is about reconnecting — with the music, with each other and with the people who have supported us throughout the years.”
Since its founding, Celtic Thunder has performed internationally, blending traditional Irish music with contemporary styles. The group has sold millions of albums and appeared on stages worldwide.
