RHS team excels in district sales contest
Agricultural sales team from RHS secures fifth place, with Libirti Shortt-Wilke in top 10 individuals
The agricultural sales team consisting of Alaena Huff, Chloe Marquis, Layla Moore and Libirti Shortt-Wilke recently represented their program at the district agricultural sales competition, where they demonstrated their skills in communication, teamwork and agricultural knowledge.
Competing against several other teams in the district, the group worked together to present sales scenarios, demonstrate product knowledge and show their ability to effectively communicate with potential customers. Their hard work and preparation paid off as the team earned fifth place overall.
In addition to the team’s success, Shortt-Wilke stood out individually by placing in the top 10 individuals in the competition.
Agricultural sales competitions help students develop real-world skills such as communication, problem-solving and product knowledge that are essential for careers in agriculture and business.
With a strong showing at districts, their achievement highlights the hard work they put into preparing for the event.
