Malvern crowns 2025 homecoming queen and king

Kami Rayborn and Owen Ball were crowned Malvern High School’s 2025 homecoming queen and king during pregame ceremonies Friday before the Malvern–Buckeye Trail football game.
Rayborn was crowned by last year’s queen, Michaela Shannon, and Ball by last year’s king, Evan Debo.
Rayborn, daughter of Matt and Keely Rayborn, is a member of the golf, track and cheer teams. She is a four-year golf letter winner, three-time IVC first-team honoree and three-time district qualifier. She also competed on state-qualifying 4x2 and 4x4 relay teams last spring. She plans to study pharmaceutical sciences in college and later attend medical school.
Ball, son of Kara and Shawn Ball, is president of the National Art Honor Society and a member of the Foreign Culture Club, French Honor Society, Science Club, Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He holds school records in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and was a state track qualifier last season. He plans to study economics and public policy in college.
Freshman attendants were Olivia Maher and Wade Barkley. Maher, daughter of Jeremy and Heather Maher, runs cross-country and track, plays basketball and is active in 4-H. Barkley, son of Ben and Suzi Barkley, plays basketball and baseball, attends First Christian Church of Malvern and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Sophomore attendants were Mya Doughty and Jeremiah Fach. Doughty, daughter of Keisha Shirley and Shaun Doughty, runs cross-country and track and was a state qualifier in multiple events last spring. Fach, son of Latasha Bain and Robert Foresha, plays football, wrestles and runs track.
Junior attendants were Avery Sprague and Cooper Kiehl. Sprague, daughter of Robyn and Matthew Sprague, competes in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading and track, and was part of a state-qualifying relay team. Kiehl, son of Missy and Chris Kiehl, plays golf and baseball, participates in the student fishing league and is active in the Carroll County Youth Resilience Team.
Senior attendants were Zoe Sikorsky and Julius Gore. Sikorsky, daughter of Emily and John Sikorsky, is a National Honor Society member and volleyball standout, where she is set to become a four-year letter winner and school record holder in digs. She plans to study biochemistry at Miami University. Gore, son of Jessica Clark, is a four-year football letter winner and former IVC North first-team honoree. He plans to play football in college and major in sports management.
