Minerva volleyball drops opener to Strasburg

The Minerva varsity volleyball team opened its season Aug. 16 against Strasburg, falling in three sets, 25–21, 25–14, 25–23.

Jenna Dowell tallied six service points, while Emma Catlett contributed five service points and three kills. Becca Jackson finished with nine digs and seven kills, and Hudson Shellenbarger added seven digs. Ayla Shellenbarger led the Lions with 15 kills, five blocks and four service points.
