Members of Carrollton Scout Troop 141 gathered at VFW Post 3301 for a Court of Honor, where they received merit badges and rank advancements earned so far this year.

Scouts recognized were Jaden Logan, Clark Robidoux, Parker McIntire, Cooper Becknell, Dallak Paulette and Hayden Paul.

The ceremony also included a special presentation to longtime Scouter Virgil Schlabach, who was awarded the Silver Beaver by Toby Hoy, Buckeye Council vice president of programs. The Silver Beaver Award is among the highest honors a Boy Scout council can bestow, recognizing those who have dedicated their lives to community service and the values of Scouting.
