A benefit of overseeing 4-H project judging is you sometimes get to sample the product. During Wayne County’s recent judging event, a 4-Her offered me a sourdough chocolate chip cookie she had made, and it did not disappoint. It was soft and tasty and a welcome treat as judging began to wind down.
Throughout the three-hour event, 145 members paraded through the Wayne County Event Center with their creations and posters demonstrating what they have learned from a wide variety of projects. Our volunteer judges were once again impressed by the knowledge members shared about their projects and the quality of work presented.
