Donate coats for free admission at Wooster’s Mose Hole Kiwanis Classic
Winter coat drive supports Goodwill during Dec. 29-30 basketball tournament at Timken Gymnasium
Fans can support Goodwill Industries and the Wooster Kiwanis Club during The College of Wooster’s annual E.M. “Mose” Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Classic, which will take place Dec. 29-30 at Timken Gymnasium. The donation of two new or gently worn winter coats will provide free admission to that day’s games to spectators. The Kiwanis will sell raffle tickets both nights for gift basket prizes and will give away children’s books.
Wooster will host Geneva College Monday, Dec. 29 at 5 p.m. with the University of Wisconsin-Platteville playing Hanover College at 7 p.m. Advancement in this year’s Mose Hole is a traditional tournament with Monday’s winners playing in Tuesday’s 6 p.m. championship game and the losers playing in the 4 p.m. consolation game.
The E.M. “Mose” Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Classic is one of the oldest small-college basketball classics, with this year marking the 62nd event.
Tickets to home Wooster basketball games are $8 for adults and $7 for senior citizens (age 62 and over) and youth (age 3-17). College of Wooster faculty and staff members are admitted free of charge with their COW card. The Kiwanis is sponsoring this year’s coat drive.
