The Tuscarawas County Board of Elections has announced the resignation of Mark Waltz as chairman and member of the board.

Following his departure, the board reorganized by electing Thomas H. Hisrich as chairman, appointing David Johnson as director and naming Brian Swartzwelder as deputy director.

The board and staff extended their best wishes to Waltz in his future endeavors.
