New Phila Rotary Spring Healthcheck set for March 21 in Dover

A printed lab report will be mailed to each participant within two weeks

The Healthcheck includes a comprehensive blood screening to measure a range of health indicators.

The Rotary Club of New Philadelphia and SpringVale Health Centers will host the annual Rotary Spring Healthcheck Saturday, March 21, at SpringVale Health Centers, 335 Oxford St., Dover.

Appointments are available from 6-11 a.m. The Healthcheck includes a comprehensive blood screening to measure a range of health indicators. The cost is $55.

The blood profile includes a cholesterol lipid panel (HDL, LDL and triglycerides), a comprehensive metabolic panel for kidney and liver function and blood glucose, a complete blood count to screen for anemia, infection and immunity, and a TSH test to measure thyroid function.

Additional testing options are available for an added fee:

PSA screening for prostate cancer for men 50 and older — $15

A1C test for long-term blood sugar management — $15

Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxyl — $25

Vitamin B12 plus folate — $25

Thyroid panel — $25

ColoFIT colon cancer take-home screening kit — $25

Payment may be made by cash or check, as well as credit, debit or HSA cards.
