Lynn Drive-In opens April 3 for the season

The box office is cash only, and moviegoers need an FM radio to hear the movies

The Lynn Drive-In Movie Theatre will open for the season Friday, April 3.

The drive-in will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 7 p.m., in all weather. It will be open every night in June and July. The box office is cash only, and moviegoers need an FM radio to hear the movies.

Double features for Friday, April 3, Saturday, April 4, and Easter Sunday, April 5, are:

Screen One will feature “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” rated PG, at 8:15 p.m., followed by “Reminders of Him,” rated PG-13, at 9:45 p.m.

Screen Two will feature “Project Hail Mary,” rated PG-13, at 8:15 p.m., followed by “Mercy,” rated PG-13, at 10:15 p.m.

Admission for the double feature, two movies for one price, is $7 for ages 12 and older. Children ages 5-11 are $3. Children 4 and younger are admitted free.

The box office accepts cash only. The concession stand accepts debit and credit cards. Pets and grilling are not permitted.

Patrons should bring a portable battery-powered FM radio or use their vehicle’s FM radio to hear the movies in stereo. Guests also are encouraged to learn how to turn off their vehicle lights before arriving. Help with headlights will be available on-site.

Moviegoers are encouraged to arrive early for their choice of parking and to enjoy a picnic. The theater also encourages guests to wear pajamas.

The flea market will begin for the season Sunday, April 12, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting. Vendor spaces are $10 each, and admission for customers is free.
