Alyssa Miller named to CSC Academic All-District team

New Philadelphia's Alyssa Miller of Baldwin Wallace University was one of four Baldwin Wallace women’s basketball student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
To qualify, student-athletes must be sophomores academically and athletically, have a 3.50 grade-point average or higher, and compete in 90% of the team’s games.
Miller now advances to the CSC Academic All-America Team ballot, which will be announced April 14.
Miller earned her second career accolade while carrying a 3.77 grade-point average in marketing and finance. This season, she appeared in and started all 29 games. Miller was named Ohio Athletic Conference Defender of the Year after leading the league with 49 blocks. She averaged 4.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
In her career, Miller has totaled 488 points, 458 rebounds and 138 assists. She also recorded 131 career blocks, the second most in program history. Off the court, Miller is a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree, Jacket Scholar and member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
Baldwin Wallace finished the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 25-4 and a perfect 16-0 mark in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets won their 13th OAC regular-season title and claimed their third undefeated league record, including the first back-to-back undefeated seasons in OAC history. Baldwin Wallace qualified for its 20th NCAA Division III national tournament and advanced to the second round.
