Outdoor cooking expo to bring culinary scouting skills to Medina Square
The Great Outdoor Cooking Expo will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, on Medina Square. The free, family-friendly event invites the community to explore the exciting world of outdoor cooking.
Local scouts from Medina and surrounding areas will showcase their skills with live cooking demonstrations, offering samples of dishes ranging from savory stews, spicy chilies and jambalaya to side dishes and desserts.
The fun won’t stop at food. Children can enjoy games such as cornhole, pinewood derby racing and boat races, as well as test their balance on a monkey bridge.
The expo also offers families a chance to learn more about the Scouting America program, which emphasizes leadership, teamwork and outdoor skills. Information will be available for families interested in getting involved.
Whether you’re a food lover, adventure seeker or simply looking for a fun afternoon, the Great Outdoor Cooking Expo is an event you won’t want to miss.
