Main Street Medina to host Kids Day and Teen Fest June 6

Family-friendly event will feature games, performances, activities and entertainment on Medina Square

Main Street Medina’s Kids Day and Teen Fest on June 6 will bring family-friendly games, performances, activities and entertainment to Medina Square.

Main Street Medina will present Kids Day and Teen Fest from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 6 on Medina Square.

The event will feature magic shows, interactive art projects, character meet-and-greets, face painting, a gaming truck, rock wall climbing, food trucks, live performances and more. Designed for children, teens and families, the festival will offer hands-on activities and entertainment throughout the day.

Kids Day and Teen Fest will take place during the weekly Medina Square Farmers Market and continue through the afternoon.

Children will have the opportunity to explore fire, EMS and police vehicles from Medina City and Medina County and meet first responders.

Magician Terry Holley will perform throughout the event. Additional activities include face painting, dance performances by Project 16 students, musical performances by Medina High School’s Encore, carnival games, the Medina County District Library Bookmobile, yoga demonstrations, giveaways and the farmers market.

Teen-focused activities will include a gaming truck, extreme cornhole, free food from Chick-fil-A, ice cream, popcorn, a go-kart photo opportunity, rock wall climbing and food trucks. Teens also can participate in “Every Piece Matters,” a tile art project sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council that will later be installed in a public location in Medina. DJ music also will be featured.

Serpentini Chevrolet is the title sponsor. Presenting sponsors are Akron Children’s Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital. Supporting sponsors include Armstrong Cable, Chick-fil-A, The Goddard School, Universal Windows Direct and the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Partnering sponsors are Dominic’s and Shale Creek Tap Room.
