Medina City Schools has announced Taylor Brouse as the new principal of Sidney Fenn Elementary. She will step into the position previously held by Steve Perry, who will become an associate principal at Medina High School.

“The search for the new principal of Fenn Elementary has been extensive and comprehensive, involving a screening of more than 30 candidates and several thorough interview rounds with administration and staff to ensure she shares our Portrait of an Educator competencies and will lead Fenn Elementary. She embodies the Fenn Family in all she does, and I know she will lead the building academically and culturally as a Medina Bee,” stated Assistant Superintendent Kristine Quallich.

Taylor has served as the assistant principal at Keystone Elementary for the last three years. Prior to that, she was an intervention specialist at Keystone.

Throughout her tenure with Keystone Schools, Taylor served in leadership roles, including a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports team leader, a Building Leadership Team leader and a district Literacy Committee leader. These experiences contribute to her relational, student-centered school leadership, which allows her to build trust through clear communication, collaboration and strong relationships with students, staff and families.
